The Team
Ian Cardosi started learning about electricity from his grandfather when he was knee high to a grasshopper, with 25+ years of work and educational experience in the electrical industry. Ian’s grandfather started his own electrical contracting business 60 years ago, which is still in business and operating under his uncle. Ian followed his passions and started the business in 2018 after his 15 year stint with Corn Belt Energy--a rural electric distribution cooperative. Working from an apprentice in the family business to Manager of Engineering/Power Use at Corn Belt Energy, Ian has a unique skill set with a deep understanding of the utility rates, utility and Electrical contracting operations, and of the electrical industry.
Zack Ahlgen was at Corn Belt Energy with Ian and left at the same time to help start 100amps. Zack is behind the scenes keeping the working on all the necessary tasks to get the projects complete. Zack works with all the local authorities having jurisdiction, interconnect agreements, building permitting, Renewable Energy Credits (REC) to name a few. Occasionally Zack can be found in the field, but most often he is on the phone or his computer tracking down permits, applying for REC credits, following up on utility interconnection agreements…
